Out here stretching rooftop season as far as it’ Out here stretching rooftop season as far as it’ll go - just add heaters 🍂❄️
I was like a kid in a candy store at @kingarthurba I was like a kid in a candy store at @kingarthurbaking flagship store and bakery in Norwich, Vermont... more accurately, a baker in a baking store? 🍪🥧🧁🥖🥐I loved watching their bakers, who start making bread at 3:30am every day, operating ovens that hold more than 500 cookies! It took every ounce of self control not to hoard flour (every rare and unusual kind imaginable) and kitchen gadgets, but I did go home with some prized Dutch process cocoa for rich dark chocolate goodies 😍
I’m convinced this is the most photographed ligh I’m convinced this is the most photographed lighthouse in the U.S. I randomly thought it might be a nice place for sunset, since the Cadillac Mountain vehicle reservations for late afternoon were all booked up. It’s in Southwest Harbor, about 30 minutes from @acadianps 🏞 so we did NOT expect the 45-min wait to get into the parking lot. Or the photographers with huge tripods set up THREE HOURS before sunset. Or the scramble of people clambering over each other to get a spot on the cliffs below. On a Thursday! During a pandemic 😷 Whats the craziest thing you’ve seen someone do for a photo?
